Disney Springs – A Must See

Time goes by and sometimes we find ourselves lost in the speed of events. We started talking about the transformation of old Downtown Disney to Disney Springs in 2014 in the post: “Disney Springs”, The Old “Downtown Disney” is Transforming. I was almost scared to death when I saw the date. Almost 5 years have gone by.

We saw the transformation of the “MANNEQUIN DANCE PLACE NOW IS A MORIMOTO ASIA – DISNEY SPRINGS.”

We visited the Boat House, which was one of the first restaurants to open with its fantastic mahogany boat collection. A must! We announced the end of La Nouba (Cirque du Soleil) in 2017 after 19 years. And we are waiting for the new Cirque that promises a trip to the world of Disney characters.

What is exciting is that all this was just the tip of the iceberg. Restaurants, bars and shops are constantly opening. A profusion of the best chefs not only of the local cuisine, but from around the world are leaving their mark here. Not to mention the fantastic themed productions.

One of the most recent restaurants to open was the Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill. This is not the same one from old Downtown Disney. New Location (Near Orange Garage Exit). New menu and a modern and relaxed atmosphere.

Among my favorite restaurants is “Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’”. So-called food that is good for the soul (Chef Art was for many years the chef of Oprah Winfrey). American classics such as mac & cheese and macaroni with gourmet flair and certified ingredients are a hallmark of the best South American cuisine.

Paddlefish, another one that could not be left out of my list, is based on a selection of seafood. With their huge cauldrons, lobsters, crabs, prawns and other delights are prepared in front of the customer. You can’t resist.

Whether you just want a quick bite or just have a drink, the selection of bars, wine houses, pizzerias, burgers, food trucks and cafes amidst shopping options will not disappoint. Fortunately a single visit won’t be enough for so many options and discoveries that include a time travel with “The Edison” and a “speakeasy” under the bridge: Enzo’s Hideaway.

It doesn’t matter if you choose to be in Orlando or Kissimmee, what matters is that your destination will have anything and everything!
