Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge | Opening Fall 2019
Star Wars fans rejoice! In Fall 2019 Disney’s Hollywood Studios will transport you to a galaxy far, far away! Guests will embark in the immersive land known as the Black Spire Outpost in the planet of Batuu; an infamous stop for traders, adventurers, and smugglers. At the outpost guests will be able to eat at Oga’s Cantina and experience two new thrilling rides where they can pilot the legendary Millennium Falcon or join the Resistance.
Wizarding World of Harry Potter Roller Coaster | Opening 2019
The long-anticipated Harry Potter themed coaster is coming to Universal’s Islands of Adventure in 2019. The attraction is taking over the former Dueling Dragons and will be an exciting addition to the Hogsmeade area of the park. Get ready to take a journey deep into the Forbidden Forest in this new and exciting coaster!
Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway | Opening 2019
Walt Disney World Resort is pulling out all of the stops to make Mickey’s first attraction an unbelievable experience for everyone. The ride begins with a cartoon short of Mickey and Minnie getting ready for a picnic. As they head out, they notice that the engineer is Goofy and then join in for a wacky, wild ride. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will feature a new catchy theme song created especially for the attraction as well as a new experience that defies logic that we’re calling 2 ½-D. No glasses required.
Tigris | Opening 2019
Just a short one-hour drive from Orlando, Busch Gardens has something for every visitor ranging from world-class coasters to animal encounters. In 2019 a brand-new coaster will premiere. Tigris will catapult riders through an exhilarating array of looping twists with forward and backward motion, breath-taking drops, a 150-foot skyward surge, and an inverted heartline roll, all at more than 60 miles per hour. Designed to launch rider through over 1,800 feet of track, this new ride is not for the weak of heart. Get ready for the ride of your life.
The Lego Movie World | Spring 2019
Emmet, Wyldstyle, and the stars of The Lego Movie are getting a whole new land inspired by The LEGO Movie in early spring 2019. The former The World of Chima land will be taken out and rethemed as Battle of Bricksburg. This new The Splash Battle ride will challenge riders to spray invading Duplo aliens to prevent them from stealing Lego bricks. Get ready to explore more this spring.
